Jute is sold on grade and weight — and both get argued about. BCBD inspects and weighs at origin, bale by bale, so your contract terms are verified before shipment rather than disputed after arrival.

One clause makes our certificate a condition of payment. Insert the following in your L/C:
“The shipping document must be accompanied by the Pre-Shipment Inspection certificate of Baltic Control (BD) Ltd., certifying that the goods inspected conform to the contractual specifications in respect of weight and quality.”
With that clause in place, no shipping document is negotiable without independent confirmation of weight and quality — your protection is built into the payment mechanism itself.
Inspection is carried out as per our own procedure and/or your specific guidelines.
